Your tasks:

• You support our internal product development team and develop algorithms and applications towards automatisation in Industry 4.0.
• Depending on the task, you will contribute to the situation analysis, problem definition, and design & implementation of tailor-made solutions. 
• You will take responsibility for individual work packages and independently develop components. 
• You will support the analysis of complex problems and contribute to appealing solution concepts with a focus on statistical modelling and software development.

Your profile:

• You completed at least the 4th semester of your bachelor studies in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or similar study programs with excellent results or are currently in your masters.
• You are characterized by curiosity, creativity, and intrinsic motivation. 
• You have first experience in object-oriented programming such as Python, Java, C++, etc. and are keen to improve your skillset.
• Ideally you have first (potentially only academic) experience in un-/supervised learning, deep learning, reinforcement learning, time series forecasting or optimization.
• You are able to understand complex mathematical models and objects.
• You are fluent in English and German.
